About: Rustic and crushable Cab Franc from Beatrice and Pascal. Cabernet Franc from a vineyard south of Chinon itself, on the banks of the La Vienne river, macerated for 14 days in concrete vats followed by aging in concrete tanks for 6 to 12 months. The Lambert's take their time with their wines, you will find nothing raw or wild here, instead just well crafted, pure expressions of the terroir and their sympathetic hand. This wine has an earthy, herbal nose and bright, focussed fruit on the palate with a balance of tannin and acidity that will bring you back for another glass.
