Serving: Chilled (12–14°C)
About: This is 100% carignan (the season's hottest grape) from super old vines planted over schist soils near Cabrerolles. As with all Brutal wines this is made in tiny quanitities and is a wine that won't be made again, which is a shame because it's really very good. It's suprisingly clean and well balanced for a Brutal wine, singing in the glass and definitely one to be enjoyed during these colder months. The grapes are macerated for 9 months with no punch downs, the juice is pressed off and settled for 3 months before bottling with no additions. Fresh and vibrant with a little bit of tannin.
