A fun, rustic and new wave Cabernet Franc from Martine Budé. The grapes for this Cab Franc come from 45+ year old vines on a couple of Martine's parcels in Cravant-Les-Coteaux on the right bank of the Vienne river, providing higher humidity levels which is reflected in the character of the wine. Juicy with vibrant red fruit, well structured and exceptionally pure - perfect for this time of year. Minimal intervention, bottled unfined and unfiltered with a small sulphite addition.
