About: Iconic producer Nicolas Joly at Clos de la Coulée Serrant. This is from a small sub appellation of Anjou-Saumur called Savennieres, where the main production is Chenin Blanc planted on soil containing ancient volcanic rock. Typically with an oxidiative mineral edge reminiscent of whites from volcanic regions, the wines from here age amazingly well, this one will drink well from now until the end of the world in 2033. Top class.
