Serving: chilled (12–14°C)
About: Fruit from 90year old goblet vines, 15 days carbonic maceration and 6 months ageing in concrete. A complex and elegant beaujolais.
Sylvére Trichard is the next big thing in Beaujolais. After spending time learning from the late, great Dominique Belluard in Savoie and 'Mr Reliable' himself, Jean-Claude Lapalu, he has taken over his families vines and is working the land by biodynamic priniciples. Vines with good age, great terroir and skilled winemaking, it's hard to see where he can go wrong from here.
