Terada Honke has been producing high quality sake in Chiba-ken for hundreds of years. Wild microorganisms ferment the organic rice using traditional methods yeilding a beautiful, mellow taste. The rice is grown locally around the brewery, where work is being done to restablish older strains of rice and encourage the use of organic farming methods.
