About: Savagnin doesn't often see long maceration, however this one sits with its skins for a month. The resulting wine is powerful but with good balance of flavour. A great food wine and simply a must have!
Tony Bornard has been making wines under his own name for several years, but since 2017 when his father (Philippe Bornard) retired, the two estates have now joined and he controls production for both domaines. No easy task.
Despite this, Tony continues to make wines under his own name from young vines and new vineyards he has planted. These vines in particular surround the large Pupillin sign that sits atop of the hill on the way into the village. Tony's wines are a true reflection of his character and his own unique and personal winemaking style.
