Grapes, Chenin Blanc
Serving: Cold (6–11°C)About: The first vintage the pair have harvested this parcel planted on schist and clay in Beaulieu. The schist gives more direction and acid compared to the gravelly soils of Rablay. The site faces south on a steep slope, exposed to the wind which acts as a cooling influence during the hot summer months. A wine that develops really wonderfully with some air, giving layers of salt, minerals and a delicate oxidative note.
