About: Fifth generation of this small family operation in northern Greece. Kostis Dalamara cultivates vineyards in the eastern foothills of mount Vermion at an altitude of 250-300 metres above sea level, the grapes are exposed to the sun for most of the day throughout long, dry summers and benefitting from mild winters. This expression of Xinomavro is an exceptional example of one of Greece's best known grapes, showing similarities to Nebbiolo from Northern Italy, this red is full of mulched florals, black olive and bright red berry fruit. Drinking well now and will age brilliantly.
