About: Jean-François is currently working around twenty hectares. Until 2016, 100% of his grapes were sold to the local co-operative and other winemakers (notably Alice Bouvot of Domaine De’l'octavin). 2016 was the first year making wine after a lifetime of growing, a chance meeting with a well known producer in Burgundy who subsequently took him under his wing to teach him the ropes of natural winemaking. The Winery has been in organic conversion since then and all the vines will be certified by the end of this year. An interesting fact, Jean-François is also a bricklayer and built his winery from scratch! We rate that.
