After the success of last year’s Tillingham x Top Cuvée SC20 release we decided it was time to make another trip down to East Sussex to see what flavours this new vintage had in store!
Immediately after tasting a small batch of an apple ferment from a nearby orchard, we knew we’d struck gold again, complimented perfectly by the classic champagne trio of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier + Chardonnay.
This vintage is another co-pressed juice, with the apples handpicked, sorted and washed before being crushed into the press to before whole bunches are added to the mix. Think apple crumble on the nose with a crisp, clean palate. Bright acidity, great fruit and nicely rounded.
To sweeten the deal, we have released our limited batch of their smash-hit Pet-Nat (PN21) for you guys! This vintage stands just as tall as their last and is candy pink in appearance with a healthy amount of that classic pet-nat sediment. Think stewed rhubarb with hints of rose petal on the nose leading into a sherbert tang full of raspberries. Endlessly glugable and forever one of our favourite pet-nat’s of all time.
